Section 140
Termination of employment of workers in temporary or functional employment
The employment of workers in temporary or functional employment shall be terminated in the following cases:-
(a) In the case of workers in temporary employment, after the expiry of the period mentioned in the employment contract, but in the case of project-based employment, if the period of time is extended, or if the period of completion of such work is extended based on the nature of the work, the employment will not end until that period.
(b) In the case of workers who are in functional employment, after the completion of the work mentioned in the employment contract, if the work is added in the case of a project-based employment, or if such work is added based on the nature of the work, the employment will not end as long as the work remains.
(c) In the case of workers in casual employment, the employer or the worker voluntarily.
